I suppose that we may also be concerned to comment on the proportion of submissions from both individuals and organisations - which were assessed to be box 9. That was why I was suggesting at your meeting this morning that it will be useful to have the relevant statistics (for what they may be worth ) relating to the periods before and after the appearance of the second advertisement.
Please do not think that this letter prejudges, in any way, what the Monitors may decide to say in their report. The scope of our comments are bound to depend, to a considerable extent, on what is said in the Assessment Office report. As I indicated, I am writing now only because it is obviously best to give notice of statistics that may be required.
