(d) copies of views expressed to the

UMELCO Office will be passed on to

the Assessment Office. Should repre-

sentations be received by the monitors

they will be passed on to the Assessment

Office;

(e) individuals or organisations who do not

feel able to make written submissions

should express their views through

established consultative organisations.

This means that organisations such as

Mutual Aid Committees, Area Committees,

District Boards, the Heung Yee Kuk, etc.

will collect and forward views from

individuals. Similarly, professionals,

trade, business and service organisations

can be expected to receive views from

their members. It is for consideration

whether members of the public who wish

only to make individual verbal comments

should be encouraged to do so at District

and sub-district offices and if so whether
