GENERAL COMPOSITION OF JOINT LIAISON GROUP?
122. Not yet decided. Annex II to Joint Declaration makes clear
that each side shall determine composition of its delegation to
particular meetings of Joint Liaison Group in accordance with
subjects to be discuss and venue chosen for meeting. Same applies to any specialist sub-groups of the Joint Liaison Group which may be
set up by common agreement.
BRITISH REPRESENTATION ON THE JOINT LIAISON GROUP?
123. Too soon to say what form this will take.
HONG KONG REPRESENTATION IN BRITISH DELEGATION?
124. It is clear from the text of Annex II that each side will
determine the composition of its own delegation. We shall of course
ensure that Hong Kong is appropriately represented.
WORKING PROCEDURES?
125. Not yet determined. Annex II to Joint Declaration lays down guidelines for Joint Liaison Group. It says that Group's working procedures will be discussed and decided upon by the two sides in
accordance with these guidelines.
