Amunsworth //,,

There were, I am afraid, a few actions arising from the Statement on Hong Kong which Lord Trefgarne repeated to the House of Lords last Thursday.

Lord Trefgarne said that he would write to Lord Mayhew to correct any inaccuracies, if necessary, about retention of the Assessment Office records; he said he would write to Lord Molloy about the frequency with which the Joint Liaison Council shall report; and he said he would write to Lord Fanshawe of Richmond about the future position of the judiciary of Brunei. I attach the relevant Hansard extracts and I should be most grateful for appropriate drafts for Lord Trefgarne to send in due course.
