Response to the opinion survey on the future of Hong Kong conducted by us in December 1983 was very good. In the same period, a seminar on the issue was convened and seven Chinese guest speakers were invited to express their views.
From today onwards, we shall publish the result of the opinion survey, followed by the speeches made at the seminar and then an analysis of the opinion survey as well as the views expressed by our readers. We welcome anyone who is interested in joining the discussion to write in to us.
