We had a question in Legislative
Council last week asking how we monitor and assess public opinion. It was not easy to produce a comprehensive reply which did not go into great detail. The Governor thought it might be useful to you to have a copy of this answer on hand as no doubt you have to answer questions on the subject yourself.
I attach a copy of the answer. The supplementaries did not draw anything of substance to add to this.
