On the question of administration, over half (51.32%) of the res- pondents felt that the most ideal way is for Hongkong people to administer Hong Kong and the next best choice is continued British administration (40.09). Only a small number of respondents (3.33%) felt that Hong Kong should be directly administered by China, (See Table 5)
