Part III: concerns the form of government Hong Kong should

forth the "special administrative region" proposal as a solution to Hong
Kong's future. "Basio laws for the special administrative region" will
appear one set after another. This part solicits views from the students
on the following two items in the "basin laws": the oreation of "the
administrative head of Hong Kong" and the formation of "municipal
council which is to be one of the future administrative patterns in
Hong Kong.
Part IV: This part contains questions about the procedures of
adopting and making amendments to the "basic laws", to solicit students'
views on the status and respective roles of China, Britain and Hong Kong.
Part V: This part aims at knowing some personal particulara
about the respondents, their choices and their attitudes towards the
future issue.
3. Targets
The targets of the survey included all undergraduate students
and full Union members, totalling, 5,199.
4. Procedure:
(1) Questionnaires were distributed to students with the
assistance of various faculties, halls and the library beginning from
23rd February.
(2) Completed questionnaires were collected from students for
5 consecutive days beginning from 27th February. The last day of
collection was later postponed to 3rd March. Completed questionnaires
