11. SECURITY
a)
Miss D Claughton will be appointed Special Courier for round trip. All boxes and briefcases containing classified material must be entered on the Courier's waybill. Those concerned should contact Miss J Rowan COD (tel no 233 3706).

only. It should not be taken abroad.

London office security passes should not be taken abroad.
The Embassy/Government House will operate a safe-hand service between the communications centres in Chanceries and the Private Office at regular intervals during the day and at night as requested. A suite of safe-hand boxes will be brought out on the RAF VC10.
Arrangements have been made for the Private Office in both posts to be guarded overnight.
There will be a lock-up cupboard in each of the Private Offices.
The appropriate Security Department instructions should be followed in connection with typewriters and typewriter ribbons.
12. TRANSPORT
This is being handled by each post as necessary. Transport will be provided by the host Government/Embassy concerned. Transport, if required, for safe-hand runs will be provided by the post.
Both posts have been asked to provide in advance a allocation for airport arrivals so that the party on the aircraft are aware of the arrangements before landing. Full details of all transport arrangements will be available with the local administrative arrangements.
