Hong Kong Tel No 839 suggests that Mr Justice Jackson- Lipkin and Mr Brown be invited for a drink with the Secretary of State early in the evening of 18 April (ie before the Government House dinner). Hong Kong have asked if Mrs
Jackson-Lipkin and Mrs Brown should be invited. I should be grateful to know the Secretary of State's views on this.
2. I attach, as requested, a list of the judiciary in Hong Kong and should be grateful to know if there is any one else whom the Secretary of State would like to be
invited for a drink, with or without wives.
