Clause XVIIIA.
8.
The principal Instructions are amended
by adding, immediately after Clause XVIII, the
following
Addition
"Questions
of right to sit.
XVIIIA. (1)
Any question
of the right of a person to take
or retain a seat as an Elected Member
of the Legislative Council shall
be decided by the High Court of
Hong Kong in accordance with the
electoral Ordinance mentioned in
Clause XIII(1)(ė).
(2) Any question of the right
of a person, having been appointed
under Clause XIII(1)(d), to take
or retain a seat. as an Appointed
Member of the Legislative Council
shall be decided by the High Court
of Hong Kong in a manner similar
to that provided in respect of Elected
Members' seats by the electoral
Ordinance mentioned in Clause XIII(1)(e).".
9.
The principal Instructions are amended
