Governor shall declare in writing that
the seat of such Member is vacant and,
immediately on the publication of such
declaration in the Hong Kong Government
Gazette, he shall cease to be a Member
of the Council.
(2)
If any Appointed Member
of the Legislative Council would
become disqualified from holding
office as a Member under the electoral
Ordinance mentioned in Clause Xïíï(1)le,
were he an Elected Member, the Governor
shall declare in writing that the
seat of such Member is vacant and,
immediately on the publication of
such declaration in the Hong Kong
Government Gazette, he shall cease
to be a Member of the Council.
(3) If any Appointed or Elected
Member of the Legislative Council
shall absent himself from attendance
at the Council for more than three
months without leave from the Governor,
the Governor shall declare in writing
that the seat of such Member is
vacant and, immediately on the publication
