"Sittings and

Sessions of Legislative Council.

XXIA (1) The sittings of the Legislative

Council shall be held at such times and

places as the Governor shall from time

to time appoint by Proclamation

published in the Hong Kong Government

Gazette.

(2) There shall be a session of the

Legislative Council once at least in

every calendar year so that the period

between the last sitting of one session

and the first sitting of the next session

shall not exceed three calendar months.

Dissolution XXIB (1) The Governor may at any time,

of

Legislative by Proclamation published in the Hong

Council.

Kong Government Gazette, dissolve the

Legislative Council.

(2) Unless it shall have been sooner

dissolved, the Governor shall dissolve

the Legislative Council at the expiration

of three years from the date of the

first sitting of the Legislative Council

following the coming into operation of

the Hong Kong Additional Instructions

1985 and, thereafter, on the expiration

of three years from the first sitting of

the Legislative Council following an

election for all the seats of elected
