Clause 14(1) gives a witness the same

protection as he would have before a court of law in

respect of evidence. Clause 14(2) provides that those

armed forces under the day-to-day control of the

Commander British Forces shall not be the subject of

examination by the Council, or a committee of the

Council, other than with the consent of the Governor.
