it is important that the membership of the Executive Council should encompass છે. full range of experience and professional knowledge from the main sectors of society and the economy and the different geographical areas and age groups. The elections in the Legislative Council may or may not produce this result and it is proposed that the Governor should have the power to appoint two members of the Executive Council to ensure that it has the necessary range of experience and professional knowledge available to it. These members could be

unofficials selected from either within or without the Legislative Council, ΟΙ officials, at the Governor's

discretion.

As with the Legislative Council, it is intended the arrangements for introducing a representative element into the composition of the Executive Council should be introduced progressively.
