Legislative Council
(Powers and Privileges) Bill 1984
Tony Hammond wrote to Dick Clift on this
subject on 25 June.
The proposed timing of the Bill has clearly gone by the board, but we would like to put it to ExCo and then gazette it at the beginning of September so that the LegCo members can give it as much thought as possible before its introduction in October. It would be helpful to have your views on the Bill soon.
