Amendment of Seventh Schedule.
ROAD TRAFFIC (AMENDMENT) (NO. 2)
(d) in subsection (5) by deleting "person driving the vehicle at the time of the
alleged offence." and substituting the following-
"driver of the vehicle at the time of the alleged offence or accident or of the last driver of the vehicle prior to the accident, as the case may be,”; and
(e) in subsection (7) by deleting "Any court before whom a person is convicted
of an offence under subsection (6)” and substituting the following-
9.
"Where a person is convicted of an offence under subsection (6) and the offence of which he is convicted is an offence in connexion with the giving to a police officer of the name, address and driving licence number of the driver of a vehicle at the time of an alleged offence, the court before whom that person is convicted".
Section 69(1) of the principal Ordinance is amended by deleting paragraph (f) and substituting the following--

"(ƒ) a contravention of any of the following provisions of the Road Traffic (Public Service Vehicles) Regulations 1983, namely regulation 37(a), (b), (c) and (d) (relating to the obligations of taxi drivers) and regulation 47 (relating to prescribed taxi fares);”.
10. Section 86 of the principal Ordinance is amended-
(a) in subsection (1) by deleting "Subject to subsection (2) a" and substituting
the following-
(b) by deleting subsection (2); and
"A";
(c) by renumbering subsection (3) as subsection (2).
11. Section 109(3) of the principal Ordinance is amended by deleting "and signing" and substituting the following
", signing and guarding".
12. Section 111 of the principal Ordinance is amended-
(a) in subsection (2)—
(i) in paragraph (f), by deleting the comma at the end and substituting a full stop; and
(ii) by deleting "but does not apply to the forgery of a driving licence."; and
(b) in subsection (3)——
(i) in paragraph (c), by deleting "or";
(ii) in paragraph (d), by deleting the comma and substituting the following-
**; or"; and
(iii) by inserting after paragraph (ɗ) the following-
"(e) any other application or notification required to be made or given
under this Ordinance,”.
13. The Seventh Schedule to the principal Ordinance is amended—
(a) in the enactment Public Omnibus Service Ordinance listed in the first column, by inserting after paragraph (2) in the second column the following- "(2A) In section 4(3)(g), by deleting "omnibus" wherever it occurs and
substituting in each case "bus"."; and

(b) by inserting at the end the following—

In rule 23(c), by deleting "dangerous" in both places where it occurs and subsituting in each case the following-
"reckless".".
