In the wake of the Secretary of State's announcement yesterday afternoon, it looks Hong Kong is set for a period of renewed confidence. I think it is only right that we should pay tribute to the hard work and efforts put in by Sir Geoffrey, Your Excellency and all concerned. The people of Hong Kong now look forward to September when the draft Agreement and its Annexes are expected to be published. Let us hope that we will not be disappointed.
