The Chairman of the Sub-Committee on Administrative and Financial Hatters will present the report of the Sub-Committee and submit it for adoption by the Committee.

The Committee will have before it all relevant documents as indicated in the annotated agenda of the Sub-Committee on Administrative and Financial Matters (EC/SC.2/11).

At the close of its discussion of this item, the Committee traditionally adopts a number of decisions. The Committee will also, in the light of its discussions both under items 9 and 10, be invited to approve the proposals set out in Schedule A of the Introduction to document A/AC.96/620.

At its thirty-third session, the Committee adopted the following decisions requiring action by the High Commissioner in the field of administrative and financial matters: A/37/12/Add.1, para. 104 C4(b); D,. E(b)(iii).

Status of contributions and overall financial requirements for 1983 and

1984

The Director of External Affairs will introduce the item. The Committee will have before it document A/AC.96/622-entitled, "Report on the Status of Contributions to UNHCR Voluntary Funds and the Overall Financial Requirements for 1983 and 1984". At the close of its discussion of this item, the Committee traditionally adopts decisions.

At its thirty-third session, the Committee adopted a decision requesting UNHCR to investigate the logistical and budgetary implications of adding Arabic, Chinese and Spanish as working languages of the Committee (A/37/12/Add.1, para. 113). The Committee will have before it a Note (A/AC.96/625) on the results of these investigations.

14. Adoption of the draft report of the thirty-fourth session

The Rapporteur will introduce the draft report for adoption and subsequent submission to the thirty-eighth session of the General Assembly as an addendum to the Report of the High Commissioner (A/38/12/Add.1).
