We have been remiss in not keeping you abreast of what transpires at these meetings and I am thus enclosing a copy of the notes of the most recent meeting on 20 July 1983, together with the typically voluminous bundle of UNHCR papers issued before and after each gathering. Minutes of the previous meeting on 11 April 1983 are also enclosed. Since they do give an interesting (if not always constructive) perspective of Hong Kong's continuing VR problem, it may be helpful if I send you a copy of the minutes and papers of all such meetings in future.
