Review
After welcoming Mr. McLaren and his colleagues Mr. ZHANG
reviewed border liaison arrangements since the last review
meeting in Hong Kong in June 1982. These had worked well.
During the six months or so there had been about 80 meetings
between liaison officers and some 40 telephone contacts. to this a number of specific problems had been successfully
resolved: -
