The Rt Hon T Raison MP

You must open your eyes and realise that the British Government will have to give up their hold over Hong Kong sooner or later, why not prepare the people to establish democracy? The following points should be considered: -

(a)

(b)

(c)

(a)

(e)

There is no evidence to suggest that China opposes political reforms in Hong Kong - an excuse manufactured by the Hong Kong Government.

The people are longing for democracy and a wider representation.

The Hong Kong Government is not a defender of individual freedom but is denying the people their basic human civil rights.

The people in Hong Kong are prepared to face the political reality that China will claim back Sovereignty.

Give the people a chance to look after their own affairs.

It is very difficult to express in words the change that must and will take place. The harsh reality of life in Hong Kong cannot be swept under a carpet. Now is the time to instigate a new lease of life for the people in Hong Kong:

I shall be seeing you in your Constituency Surgery shortly.
