Items of this kind should help to go some way towards the provision of information to EXCO on China's position and on the future generally, on which subject I know Dick Clift had some discussion when he saw the Unofficials in Hong Kong on 25 May. In this connection we are seeing what can be done to provide the Unofficials with biographical notes on the key Chinese personalities involved in work on Hong Kong. We hope to let you have something shortly.
