Incidentally, it would be helpful if I could be 'told when Foreign Office Ministers plan to visit the Far East. We could for example have gained substantial political advantage if, when the Secretary of State visited Bangkok (which is only two hours away) for the ASEAN/EC Meeting, he had come through Hong Kong and met the Executive Council.
