Kong belongers to immigration control.
The BNA 1981 (Consequential Amendments) Ordinance
1982 amended numerous other ordinances and instru-
ments to bring them into line with the new terminology
adopted in the BNA.
(d) The British Nationality (Miscellaneous Provisions)
(Amendment) Ordinance 1982 amended the British
Nationality (Miscellaneous Provisions) Ordinance
by introducing new definitions and adjusting the
level of fees and penalties for offences under it.
FALKLAND ISLANDS
5. A Bill introduced by Baroness Vickers to confer
British citizenship on the Falklanders was given a Third
Reading on 11 March 1983 without amendment. If it
becomes law, it will confer British citizenship, and with
it the right of abode in the United Kingdom, of some 400
persons who would not otherwise acquire it.
