No. Their admission is dependent on the immigration

Rules of the territory concerned.

7. Have there been representations from other Dependent

Territories asking for similar treatment to that given to

the Falklands?

There have been representations made by the Legislative.

Council of St Helena. The Governor has explained councillors

that the British Nationality (Falklands Islands) Bill should

not be regarded as a precedent for other dependent territories.

8. Will there be many people liable to find themselves without

right of entry to the territory from which they derive their

citizenship? What would be the reasons for this?

It is not possible to give any details at this stage. As

I have said this is a matter for the individual territories.

Ilowever I do not expect that any BDTC, who holds no other

national status will be left without a right of entry to a

dependent territory.
