REVISED EXTRADITION TREATY WITH DENMARK: HONG KONG

have, in paragraph 4 of their telegram number 826, asked for an amendment to be made to the treaty.
2.
Revision of the treatv has taken several years and in the later stages there has been considerable difficultv in agreeing final texts with Danes. The treatv now awaits signature in Copenhagen and I would be very reluctant to propose a further amendment at this stage.
3. I have consulted the Home Office about Hong Kong's
c-Attached. problem and should like to advise Hong Kong as in the
draft saving telegram attached.
