He alleged to have little connection with the Deceased's social circle but admitted that he was closely attached to the Deceased, had been acquainted with the latter's wife and brothers and, moreover, frequently slept at the Deceased place at Ngau Tau Kok Estate. Since his involvement in trafficking drugs, the Prisoner had stopped hawking in 1978 and also ceased the work of a sales-representative.
Since he got more involved in the drug circle, the Prisoner thought of starting his own branch. In May 1979, he managed to get some heroin from a Mr. LAM Wai-kwong and requested the Deceased to take the drug to Holland for sale during the latter's own consignment. However the Deceased returned and informed
