Your humble Petitioner, however, does aver that the offence was not
pre-meditated. The death of the deceased was the result of a fight which developed
in such a way that the deceased was struck a blow which rendered him unconscious
and possibly dead. Subsequently in a vain attempt to cover up what he had done,
whilst in a state of shock, your humble Petitioner mutilated and dissected the
deceased's body and attempted to dispose of it, to withhold evidence of what had
happened.

Your humble Petitioner deeply regrets and repents the consequences of
his action. He fully appreciates the disgrace that he has brought upon himself,
as well as the grief, remorse and loss that he caused the family of the deceased.
He realises fully his error in doing what he did, which was completely out of
character. Your humble Petitioner vows that he will never again act in such a
