(2) An application for leave to appeal under this section shall be-

(a) in the prescribed form, setting out the question of

law; and

(b) lodged with the Registrar of the Supreme Court.

(3) A refusal by the Court of Appeal to grant leave to appeal shall be final.

29B. On an appeal under section 29A, the Court of Appeal may-

(a) allow the appeal;

(b) dismiss the appeal; or

(c) remit the matter to the tribunal with such directions

as it thinks fit, which may include a direction to the tribunal for a new hearing,

and may make such order as to costs as it thinks fit.";

(d) in section 31-

(i) by inserting after "section 28" the following-

"or section 29A”; and

(ii) by deleting "or Court of Appeal" in both places where it occurs and substituting the following-

the High Court or Court of Appeal"; and

(e) in section 36-

(i) by deleting "section 28" and substituting the following-

"sections 28 and 29A"; and

(ii) by deleting "section 29" and substituting the following-

"sections 29 and 29B".

(2) Where an action or matter commenced in the District Court before the coming into operation of sections 2(1) and 3 is brought within the jurisdiction of the District Court by the operation of those sections, the District Court may refuse to make an order under section 39(1) of the District Court Ordinance.

12. (1) Where a cause or matter commenced in the High Court before the coming into operation of sections 2(1) and 3 is brought within the jurisdiction of the District Court by the operation of those sections, the High Court may transfer the cause or matter to the District Court.
