The problem is therefore somewhat reduced in dimensions. The Attorney General's Chambers are completely satisfied that none of the prescriptive rights which the inhabitants of the Walled City may have acquired, and none of the practical measures proposed for taking these into account, in any way threaten the Crown's sovereignty in relation to the New Territories.
