Tour Prices
On the basis of a shared twinbedded room:
Tour prices include accommodation in first class hotels, all meals in China, and first class trains. Tour 1 includes direct flights from Hong Kong to China and return. Tours are subject to a minimum of 25 persons per tour.
Reservations and Payment Schedule
Reservation forms for the tours must be completed and returned before May 1, 1982 to FID 41st Congress, c/o Hong Kong Polytechnic Library, Hung Hom, Kowloon, Hong Kong. Reservation requests must be accompanied by a deposit of HK$500 for Tour 1, HK$300 for Tour 2 per person.
As places are limited you are urged to reserve early. Participants will be accepted on a first-come-first- served basis. Deposits will only be refunded for unsuccessful reservations.
Payment of the deposit must be in Hong Kong dollar bankdraft made payable in favour of FID 41st Congress, address: c/o Hong Kong Polytechnic Library, Hung Hom, Kowloon, Hong Kong.
Confirmations of booking will be mailed with an invoice for the balance due, which must be paid before July 1, 1982. Late payment of the balance due will be treated as a cancellation.
Together with the confirmation, participants will receive detailed information booklets. Visas can be processed by the FID 41st Congress in Hong Kong two months before the tour and the visa fee is included in the tour price.
Cancellation Schedule
Cancellations must be made in writing or by telex. Dates of cancellation is detemined by the date of receipt by the FID 41st Congress. Cancellation fees will be charged according to the following schedule: a) for all cancellations received by the FID 41st Congress in Hong Kong after 1st May 1982, a charge of HK$500 for the Beijing tour and HK$300 for the Guangzhou tour per person;
b) no cancellation and no refunds after 1st July 1982
for all tours.
Responsibilities

The FID 41st Congress, ISTIC, and the organizers of travel arrangements in China, accept responsibility of any nature for any loss of property or personal injury occuring by reasons of events beyond the control of the organizers or occuring without the fault or the negligence of the organizers. The organizers act as agents only and accept no responsibility for loss, damage or injury resulting from delays or from any kind of negligence of any transportation company, agency, service or from any cause. Any and all debts incurred by the participants are the responsibility of the parti- cipants.
