LORD PRIVY SEAL'S MEETING WITH MR ROBERT PARRY MP
1. The Lord Privy Seal has agreed to see Mr Parry tomorrow afternoon at 3 pm.
2. The only development since my minute of 17 February has been Ms Vertucci's arrival in this country.

You asked about the right to petition Her Majesty The Queen and the Secretary of State. Colonial Regulations state that any person in a territory has a right to petition the Secretary of State. The departmental Legal Adviser's view is that this includes Ms Vertucci. There are also provisions in the Regulations for petitioning The Queen. All such petitions should be transmitted through the Governor.
4. Mr Williamson will attend the meeting.
