Mr Robert Parry (Liverpool, Scotland Exchange): To ask the Lord Privy Seal, for how long Ms Christine Vertucci has resided in Hong Kong; if her visa had been extended in the past; what is her occupation; and if she has been charged with any offence during her stay.

Ms Vertucci has been resident in Hong Kong since January 1978
and her stay has been renewed at 6-monthly intervals since then.
She has been employed as an assistant editor. She has not been
charged with any offence in Hong Kong.
