3. Any person who is or becomes a British
Dependent Territories citizen ***
(a) by birth in Hong Kong under section
15(1)(a) of the 1981 Act;
10(b) by descent under section 16 of the
1981 Act;
(c) under section 23(2) of the 1981 Act; or
(a) under paragraph 1 of Schedule 2 to the
1981 Act,
if that person's father or mother or
grandfather or grandmother has an appropriate
qualifying connexion with Hong Kong.
Any person who is or becomes a British
:
Dependent Territories citizen
(a) by birth in any of the British Dependent
Territories mentioned in Schedule 6 to
the 1981. Act (other than Hong Kong) under
section 15(1) of the 1981 Act; or
(b) by registration in any of the British
Dependent Territories mentioned in
