P.S. It has occurred to me that CBDTS (HK) not 'settled'
in the UK will no doubt wish to know how they may register their children born in UK after 1.1.83 as CDDTS by decent. Presumably the Nationality Department at the Home Office would be the appro- priate authorities to deal with such matters, but if this is not the case, I wonder if HK has set up the machinery to do so yet. In point of fact, we do not seem to have come across any legislation in HK which is related to the impending implemen- tation of the British Nationality Act.
