Amendment
1. Section 2 is amended by deleting "natural-born subject of Her Majesty" and substituting the following
"Commonwealth citizen".
2. Section 3 is amended by deleting "natural-bor British subject" and substituting the following
"Commonwealth citizen"
1 Section 7(1) and (2) is amended by deleting "section 1(3) of the British Nationality Act 1948 and substituting the following

Schedule 3 to the British Nationality Act 1981".

Part I of the Second Schedule is amended by deleting "citizen only of the United Kingdom and Colonies" in paragraphs 1 and 2 and substituting the following
"British citizen, a British Dependent Territories citizen, or a British Overseas citizen, possessing no other citizenship or nationality".
Section 20(1)(a) is amended ·
(a) by deleting "British subject" and substituting
the following
"Commonwealth citizen"; and
(b) by deleting "British subjects" and substituting
the following
"Commonwealth, citizens”
