Repeal and replacement
of section 2.
3. Section 2 of the principal Ordinance is
repealed and replaced by the following
"Interpreta-
tion.
(1981 c.61.)
2. In this Ordinance, unless the
context otherwise requires
'
"the 1981 Act" means the British
Nationality Act 1981 and any
reference in the Schedule to a
section shall be construed as a
reference to a section contained
in that Act;
"citizen" means a British Dependent
Territories citizen and
"citizenship" shall be construed
accordingly;
"the former nationality Acts" has the
same meaning as it has in the 1981
Act;
"grant of a certificate of
naturalization" means the grant of
à certificate of naturalization as
a citizen under the 1981 Act by
the Governor;
