Section 2 is amended by deleting "natural-born subject of Her Majesty" and substituting the following

Section 3 is amended by deleting "natural-born British subject" and substituting the following
"Commonwealth citizen".
1. Section 7(1) and (2) is amended by deleting "section 1(3) of the British Nationality Act 1948" and substituting the following

"Schedule 3 to the British Nationality Act 1981".
Part I of the Second Schedule is amended by deleting "citizen only of the United Kingdom and Colonies" in paragraphs 1 and 2 and substituting the following
"British citizen, a British Dependent Territories citizen, or a British Overseas citizen, possessing no other citizenship or nationality".
Section 20(1)(a) is amended
(a) by deleting "British subject" and substituting
the following
"British citizen, a British Dependent
Territories citizen or a British Overseas citizen"; and
(b) by deleting "British subjects" and substituting
the following
"British citizens, British Dependent Territories citizens or British Overseas citizens".
