Amendment
section 49(1) and (4) is amended by deleting "British subject: wherever it occurs and substituting the following

"British citizen, a British Dependent Territories citizen or a British Overseas citizen".

The long title to the ordinance is amended by deleting Briti subjects" and substituting the following
"Bri ti sh citizens. British Dependent Territories citizens or British Overseas citizens".
Section 41 is amended
(a) in subsection (1) by deleting "British subject”
in both places where it occurs and substituting the following
<
"British citizen, a British Dependent Territories citizen or a British Overseas citizen"; and
(b) in subsection (2)
(i)
by deleting "British subject in both places where it occurs and substituting the following
(ii)
"British citizen, a British Dependent Territories citizen or a British overseas citizen; and
by deleting "British subjects" and substituting the following
"parties to the marriage".
