Amendment
(d) by deleting the definition of "United Kingdom" and
substituting the, following definition

"United Kingdom" means
(a) the United Kingdom of Great Britain and
Northern Ireland; or
(b) when used with reference to citizenship or
nationality, Great Britain, Northern
Ireland, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man; ".
Section 4 is repealed and replaced by the following

to the British Nationality Act 1981;

Section 2 is amended by deleting "British subjects"
in the definition of ordinarily resident in Hong Kong" and substituting the following
