From the above you will see that, apart from regretting that Vietnamese are no longer free to move around and take up employment, I personally find it difficolt to see what specific issues we might raise with the Hong Kong authorities. Naturally however, I will bring the correspondence to the attention of our Asia Committee for discussion when it next meets, which I am afraid is not until after the ICVA meeting in October. In future, we would be happy to receive comments like these from ACVA or USCR directly as well as discussing them in an international context.
