170 Sir Patrick Wall (Haltemprice): To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Common- wealth Affairs, what is the number of Vietnamese refugees now in Hong Kong; and how many have been there for one year, two years or three years, respectively.

On 15 December there were 13,114 Vietnamese refugees

in Hong Kong. 4,156 have been in Hong Kong for 3 years

or more, 4,714 for 2 years or more, 6,294 for one

year or more and 6,820 for less than one year.
