economy. The streamlining will improve economic results and quicken the pace of the nation's economic construction,
according to a circular issed recently by the Commission.

Of China's 380,000 industrial enterprises, 651 each pay between 10 million and 30 million yuan and 369 each pay over 30 million yuan in profits and taxes annually to the State, according to 1980 statistics from the Stat、 Statistical
Bureau.
