Dear Sir,
I have been in contact with your office today by telephone but unfortunately each time you were out or otherwise engaged.
I feel most concerned and I suppose one could say that I am looking for some reassurance. I was listening in to Capital Radio on Monday evening, 27th. of this month between 7-30 and 8 0 clock, it was a programme all about the poor reception the Vietnamese Boat. People have received in this country, there was the argument put forward about the second class housing many of these people receive, and the other side of the argument, that why should these people get preferential treatment when many of the indigenous population live in darp conditions. There was then a 'phone in' consisting of two callers, this is when I became most intrigued, the first caller claimed that his name was Barry Stephens a well known film director he said that he was driving along in his car when he over heard what was being said, so he hopped out of his car at the nearest call box.

le claired that he and his film crow were in llong Kong in May f this year on what they call the the Gulf Straits which is about fifty miles outside Hong Kong harbour, when a boat care in with 58 people aboard, these people being Vietnamese Refugees, along came another boat laden with food etc. laid out on deck for the Vietnamese
to see and when that boat got within fifty metro radius of the refugee boat, the nets care down, the machine guns care out and :: gunned the refugees into the water. He claims that he went to the Hong Kong Police and told them that he and his film crew had witnessed the whole thing but they wore told to say nothing more about this or
(they would be arrested. He claims to have stills, to verify his story but why wait until now before speaking out? And I ask myself is this atory true? Therefore I put it to you for you to investigato,
Yours,
Burons (rs)
