This is to confirm arrangements for the meeting to be chaired by Miss Solesby at 9.45 am on Friday 30 April, in her room G85/1 (Goggs First floor, on north side of central circle; nearest entrance is by main gates opposite King Charles St main gate entrance).

The Australian official is Mr P B Eyles, a First Assistant Secretary (= Asst Under Secretary in FCO terms) in the Department of Immigration and Ethnic Affairs, Canberra. He would like to discuss the situations relating to refugees, including Polish detainees (as potential refugees). We have undertaken to cover Afghan, Polish and Indo-Chinese refugees at the meeting.
