Minutes of Meeting on 24.3.82
We spoke and may I thank you again for sending a copy of the minutes of the Asia Committee meeting on 24th March.
It is generally an accurate record but I should be grateful if you would allow me to make a minor observation or two. I was asked to attend only for Item 3 of the agenda, Report on Indo-Chinese Refugees, and so limit my comments just to that section of the minutes.

My comments relate essentially to the record of my account of the FCO's endeavours to help Hong Kong. refer to section b), under FCO measures, on page 2. will you please amend that to read :
b)
press the USA to publicise their restrictions on the refugees that they will admit and their wish to bring the programme to an 'orderly close'.
