For your own information again, both Roberts and Stevens (DOT)
are heavily committed to air service negotiations between now and
the end of March. If Ishak seeks early talks we will do our best
to meet his wishes, but even if we can fit him in during the
next six weeks it will almost certainly have to be in London.
At a busy time of year it is not at all unusual for a Government
with large civil aviation interests to be unable to fit in
negotiations at short notice.
This is a point
8 BA and MAS have recently agreed to a student fare between
Malaysia and the UK. It is being filed with the Civil Aviation
Authority but there should be no difficulty.
