We have asked HM Ambassador, Peking, to telegraph Deskby 0930Z
on 16 March if there is further news about Gu Mu; he may have been
able to discuss the proposed visit with the Chinese Foreign Minister
on 13 March.

breakfast on 16 March (with the Prime Minister's agreement).
