FAMILIARISATION VISIT TO HONG KONG BY WARWICK MORRIS

As you know, Warwick Morris took over work in HKGD on Hong Kong/Chinese affairs and a number of other issues towards the end of last year. I think it would be valuable for him to visit Hong Kong fairly soon. For a variety of reasons the only time this year which would be convenient is the second fortnight in April. I am conscious that this will be a busy time for senior officials with the changeover of Governors. Warwick should not be bothering them too much but I thought it prudent to sound you out before taking the idea any further. What do you think?
